Szamos Confectionery and Chocolate Museum – Budapest

There was a pastry chef apprentice, Mladen Szavits who learned a technique to create marzipan roses and passed over this knowledge to his successors. This famous rose was followed by a whole bouquet of Szamos marzipan boutiques; and now the chain is considered as a valuable Hungaricum. One of the most beautiful flowers of this bouquet is located at Kossuth Square, attracting attention to itself not only with its delicious pastries but also with its amazing LED illumination.
